PHILADELPHIA – The University of Dayton baseball team was held in check in its doubleheader against Saint Joseph's on Friday afternoon, falling in Game One, 4-1 and then in Game Two, 7-1 at Smithson Field.
GAME ONE – Saint Joseph's 4  Dayton 1

- Saint Joseph starter Tim Brennan was dominant in the double header opener, tossing a complete game and striking out seven batters while not walking anyone.
