DeKALB, Ill. - The University of Dayton volleyball team dropped its season-opening match to Cal Poly, 3-0 (25-19, 28-26, 25-18), Friday afternoon. It was the Flyers' first match of the Holiday Inn Express Invitational hosted by Northern Illinois at NIU's Convocation Center.

Jessica Sloan led the Flyer attack with 12 kills while senior
Amber Erhahon posted a .500 hitting percentage with eight kills on 14 attempts to one error.
