DeKALB, Ill. - The University of Dayton volleyball team pulled off a hard-fought 3-1 (21-25, 25-18, 25-22, 25-23) win over High Point Saturday in the team's finale of the Northern Illinois Invitational. Junior
Lauren Bruns led all attackers with a match-high 17 kills.

After trailing by as many as seven, 16-9, Dayton closed out the third frame with an 8-1 run to claim the 25-22 set win.

Jessica Sloan posted her second-consecutive double-double with 11 kills and 10 digs.
