HUNTINGTON, W.Va. - Due to heavy rains in the area, the final round of play at the 2017 Joe Feaganes Marshall Invitational has been permanently suspended. The University of Dayton men's golf team claimed the Invitational title after finishing the first two rounds in first place, one stoke ahead of host Marshall. Dayton posted a two-round team score of 283-279=562 (-6) to take first place out of 15 participating teams.
The event was held at the Guyan Golf and Country Club and the course was played at par 71 and 6,573 yards.

- Vandemore's second-round score of 65, a new career low, is seven strokes lower than his previous career best
- Two Flyers carded an eagle: senior
Brendan Keating recorded an eagle on hole one, his final hole of the first round; senior
