COLUMBUS, Ohio - The University of Dayton volleyball team dropped a 3-1 (25-12, 25-18, 12-25, 25-18) decision to Western Kentucky Friday evening at Ohio State's St. John Arena. Seniors Jane Emmenecker (32A, 11D) and Jessica Sloan (11K, 11D) each posted double-doubles for the Flyers.

KEY STATS
- Junior Lauren Bruns was the team's kills leader with 14 for the match while junior Kendyll Brown was the team's leading blocker with seven.
- Senior Jessica Sloan was the only other Flyer in double-digit kills (11) to go with 11 digs for the double-double.
- Senior Jane Emmenecker also tallied 11 digs to go with her 32 assists for the team's second double-double. Junior Margo Wolf also passed 11 digs for UD.
- Western Kentucky was led by Rachel Anderson and Alyssa Cavanaugh with 18 kills apiece
