YORKTOWN, Ind. - The University of Dayton women's golf team is in 17th place after the first and second rounds of play at the Ball State Cardinal Classic. The two-day event is being held at The Players Club at 6,204 yards and par 72.
University of Indianapolis is leading the team rankings with a score of 569 (-2). Jacinta Pikunas of the University of Akron fired the low score of the day with a 138 (-6) total in rounds one and two.
Coach Kosters was impressed with how the Flyers played today, noting that each player contributed in the 36-hole day. "
Ellie Cronin showed she is rock solid. She was in postition for birdies all day and led the team with a 78-76.
Emily Connors scored a 75 in the first round and freshman
Brittney Blaschak scored a 78 in the second round, so we spread the low scores around. I'm confident we are on our way to all of the players going low at the same time!"
