ST. LOUIS - The University of Dayton volleyball team opened Atlantic 10 Conference play with a straight-set sweep of Saint Louis, 3-0 (26-24, 25-18, 25-15), Friday night at Chaifetz Pavillion. Dayton is now 9-6 overall and 1-0 in league action while Saint Louis moves to 3-11 on the year and 0-1 in A-10 play.
KEY MOMENT
After scoring the first point of the match, Dayton fell behind Saint Louis by as many as seven in the first set. The Flyers faced set point at 24-22 but rattled off four-straight points to take the frame, 26-24, and kickstart the UD offense.
