COACH ORDWAY'S QUOTE
"We had an excellent day on the women's side, in terms of coming out and taking care of race strategy. They executed very well.
Nicole Steinbicker was our sixth runner today. She kind of got trapped back in the pack but she moved up like a savvy senior today.
Chloe Flora was able to put together an awesome race from beginning to end.
Taylor Vernot is really shaping up into form and
Emily Leonard was right behind her.
Emily Borchers and
Grace McDonald crossed the line together as well. They just really found each other throughout the race and moved as one unit. We're eighth in the region, and today we showed we deserve to be there. We're running strong as a team. All around, it's a great day to be a Flyer. We've got big goals for the season and we're starting to achieve them and see success and I'm excited to be a part of it."
