KETTERING, Ohio – The University of Dayton women's golf team defeated Detroit Mercy in match play today at NCR Country Club, 4-2.

Coach Sally Kosters was satisfied with how the Flyers struck the ball today. "I'm very pleased about how we played today, winning decisively. Even in the matches we lost, there was a lot of good play."

The Flyers travel to Batavia, Ohio with an 8 a.m. ET shotgun start on Monday at the Northern Kentucky University Fall Classic.
