AKRON, Ohio - The University of Dayton men's golf team finished in 14th place at the annual Firestone Invitational hosted by Akron Tuesday at Firestone Country Club. The Flyers posted a team score of 286-297-303=886 (+22) while senior Jake Gilkison led the team with his score of 68-76-75=219 (+3).

Host Akron claimed the team title with its score of 286-285-286=857 (-7) and Ohio's Zach Crawford earned medalist honors with his score of 69-69-68=206 (-10).
