DAYTON - University of Dayton volleyball head coach Tim Horsmon is excited to announce Alyssa D'Errico as the Flyers' associate head coach.

"Alyssa is one of the really good volleyball coaches and people in our business," commented Horsmon. "She has a great knowledge of the game and is a relentless recruiter. More importantly, Alyssa's commitment and desire to be a Flyer and do everything she can to grow this program. We are all excited for Alyssa and believe we continue to strengthen a strong coaching and support staff."

D'Errico joined the Dayton volleyball staff in January of 2017 and just completed her second season on staff during the 2018 season. She serves as the recruiting coordinator and her on-court focus is blocking and defense. Over the past two seasons, D'Errico has helped lead Dayton to a 46-16 overall mark and a 25-3 record in Atlantic 10 Conference play.

A former professional player and four-time NCAA National Champion at Penn State, D'Errico spent the 2015 and 2016 seasons as an assistant coach at Louisville and helped lead the team to the program's first ACC Championship. Prior to UofL, she played three seasons as a libero overseas on the professional circuit, including stops in Spain, Croatia, and France.
