HILTON HEAD, S.C. - The University of Dayton men's golf team closed out play at the 13th annual Wexford Plantation Intercollegiate Tuesday as sophomore
Domenic Maricocchi fired the team's low round of the day. Dayton's team score of 298-316-313=927 ( 63) placed the Flyers 16th.
38th-ranked TCU took the team title with a score of 287-281-285=853 (-11) and the Horned Frogs' Stefano Mazzoli took was the top finishing individual with a score of 70-71-65=206 (-10). The two-day event was held at Wexford Plantation at par 72 and 6,913 yards.

Dayton will return to action March 9-11 when the Flyers will take part in the Pinehurst Intercollegiate. The three-day tournament will be held in Pinehurst, North Carolina, at Pinehurst Resort.
