Lakewood Ranch, Fla. – The University of Dayton women's golf team travels to Florida Monday to kick off its spring season, competing in the Mid-American Match Play Challenge hosted by Bowling Green State University.
12 teams will compete in a two-day event held at Royal Lakes, which will play as 6,068 yards. Teams will compete in two sets of match play tomorrow. Monday competition for the Flyers begins at 7:50a.m.
The tenth-seeded Flyers take on the seventh-seeded Ohio University Bobcats in the first set of match play Monday. If Dayton wins, they will compete against Florida Gulf Coast University starting at noon on Monday. If Dayton loses in match play against Ohio, they will compete at 1:10p.m. against the loser of UNC-Asheville vs Eastern Michigan University.
