NEWPORT NEWS, Va. - University of Dayton men's golfer Caleb Wolters has been named the Atlantic 10's Co-Golfer of the Week as announced by the league office on Friday.

Richmond's Andrew Sciarretta shares Golfer of the Week honors with Wolters while Danny Gianniny of St. Bonaventure was named Rookie of the Week.

Wolters helped lead Dayton to a tie for third place at the 2018 Pinehurst Intercollegiate March 9-11 as he finished tied for third place as well. He fired the team's tournament low round of 70 (-1) on Saturday and followed that with an even-par 71 on Sunday. For the weekend, Wolters tallied six birdies.

The Flyers return to action April 7-8 at the Cabarrus County Irish Creek Invitational hosted by Davidson and Charlotte. The two-day event will be played at The Club at Irish Creek in Kannapolis, North Carolina.
