RICHMOND, Ky. - The University of Dayton women's golf team finished in 13th place at in the Eastern Kentucky University Colonel Classic. The two-day event was held at University Club at Arlington at 5,815 yards and par 72. Dayton's second round score of 311 is the lowest of the spring season for the Flyers.
Xavier won the tournament, defeating Eastern Kentucky in a playoff. Western Kentucky's Mary Joiner and Akron's Danielle Nicholson fired the low tournament scores with 144 (E) totals. Joiner defeated Nicholson in a playoff for individual medalist honors.
