KANNAPOLIS, N.C. - The University of Dayton men's golf team wrapped its first day of play at the 2018 Cabarrus County Irish Creek Intercollegiate after two rounds on Saturday. The team posted a score of 300-316=616 ( 48) while senior Caleb Wolters led the Flyers with his score of 74-76=150 ( 8).

The final round will be played tomorrow with an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start. The three-round even is being played at The Club at Irish Creek at par 71 and 7,099 yards.
