COACH'S COMMENTS
"We had another very strong defensive showing tonight," said head coach
Dennis Currier. "We started the game off well, but when we failed to get dangerous on goal, we started losing the momentum and lost our rhythm. In the second half, we had some better moments over a longer period of time, but it was obvious our main growth needs to occur with our strikers. In our system, it is critical they hold the ball up better to allow us to get numbers in the attack and get our backs higher up the field. Preseason is about to end and our focus will be on the opening weekend."Â
