DAYTON - The University of Dayton volleyball team picked up two wins on Saturday in the second day of competition at the Flyers' Dayton Invitational. Dayton defeated both Ball State (25-19, 25-17, 27-29, 28-26) and South Alabama (27-25, 22-25, 25-21, 25-15) by a margin of 3-1. UD senior
Lauren Bruns was named the tournament's MVP and sophomore
Brooke Westbeld joined Bruns on the All-Tournament Team.
Dayton finished the weekend with an unblemished 3-0 record. Ball State was 2-1 and South Alabama moved to 1-2 on the weekend.
