  • Fjeldberg scored his second and third goals of the season.
  • Junior Daniel Dos Santos picked up his first assist of the campaign.
  • Goalkeeper Federico Barrios recorded five saves, one shy of a season high.
  • UIW committed 19 fouls to Dayton's seven fouls.

COACH'S COMMENTS
"I think we started off really good," said head coach Dennis Currier. "We had good energy and came out and got an early goal. That was one of our goals. I thought the first half went really well. We probably could have generated a few more chances late in the first half, but we dictated the tempo well. In the second half, we talked about trying to get another early goal and putting the game further away. From there I think we let them into the game and let them get momentum. We started losing possession of the ball, but ultimately our back four sustained all the pressure and another shutout, which is great having the back four keep us in the game all the way to the end. We are 4-1-2 and off to Oakland which is a great program with great history. We just have to keep the winning trend and finish off the non-conference schedule."
