CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa - The University of Dayton men's golf team posted a first-round score of 299 (+11) at Iowa's Golfweek Conference Challenge and is in 14th place. Freshman
Frankie Morgan leads the team with an even-par round of 72 on the first 18 holes.
The three-day event is being held at Cedar Rapids Country Club and played at par 72 and 7,112 yards. Arkansas State is leading the 16-team field with a first-round team score of 277 (-11) and Jacksonville's Thomas Thurloway is in first place with his six-under-par round of 66.
