WASHINGTON, D.C. - The University of Dayton volleyball team claimed a 3-1 (28-26, 24-26, 25-22, 25-20) win at George Washington Saturday night to extend its winning streak to six matches. Sophomore Brooke Westbeld recorded her second triple-double of the season with 12 kills, 25 assists and 13 digs for the Flyers.

Dayton improves to 11-4 overall and 2-0 in Atlantic 10 play while George Washington moves to 7-6 on the season and 1-1 in league action.

KEY STATS
• 18 - freshman Maura Collins got under a career-high 18 digs
• 26 & 13 - sophomore Bridget Doherty recorded her second double-double of the season, including a career-high 13 digs
• 24 - senior Lauren Bruns tallied a match-high 24 kills to go with six digs, four blocks and two service aces
• .245 to .107 - Dayton out-hit George Washington by a margin of .245 to .107

Dayton will return home next weekend for two Atlantic 10 Conference matches at Frericks Center. UD will host Davidson Friday at 7 p.m. followed by VCU on Sunday at 1 p.m. Admission to all matches is free.
