DAYTON -- The University of Dayton volleyball team extended its winning streak to seven with a 3-1 (25-13, 25-18, 21-25, 25-10) over Davidson in Atlantic 10 action Friday night at Frericks Center. Senior Lauren Bruns surpassed the 1,000-kills mark, head coach Tim Horsmon collected his 250th win at Dayton and sophomore Brooke Westbeld tallied her third triple-double of the season.

Dayton improves to 12-4 on the season and 3-0 in A-10 play while Davidson moves to 7-6 overall and 1-2 in league matches.

• 17 - Bruns' match-high 17 kills pushed her past the 1,000-kills mark. She now has 1,009 career kills.
• 21 - senior Margo Wolf got under a match-high 21 digs
• 11 - freshman Alli Papesh was the second Flyer with double-digit kills (11)

Senior Kendyll Brown recorded nine kills to go with five blocks while sophomore Bridget Doherty set 21 assists and served up three aces.

Dayton will play host to second-place VCU on Sunday in an early-conference-season battle of the unbeatens. First serve between the Flyers and Rams is set for 1 p.m. at Frericks Center and admission is free.
