TOLEDO, Ohio - The University of Dayton men's golf team wrapped play at the 14th-Annual Inverness Intercollegiate Tuesday afternoon. The team tied for ninth place with a team score of 302-300-301=903 (+51) while senior Jake Gilkison was the Flyers' top finisher in a tie for 25th place.

The two-day event took place at the Inverness Club and the course was played on a par-71, 7,172-yard layout. The field was able to get in all 54 holes despite rainy conditions.

Tennessee claimed the team title with its score of 285-289-290=864 (+12) while Virginia's Thomas Walsh took home medalist honors with a score of 71-69-65=205 (-8).
