DAYTON - The University of Dayton volleyball team is set to host Miami (Ohio) Tuesday evening at Frericks Center. First serve between the Flyers and RedHawks is set for 7 p.m. and admission is free.
Dayton (4-2) is coming off a 1-2 weekend at No. 16 Kentucky's Bluegrass Battle, dropping a 3-2 contest to Kansas and a 3-0 loss to Kentucky and picking up a 3-1 win over College of Charleston.
Miami (5-1) went 3-0 at the Saluki Invitational hosted by Southern Illinois this past weekend. The RedHawks downed the Racers of Murray State and the host Salukis by a margin of 3-1 while sweeping Alabama A&M in straight sets.
SERIES STUFF
Miami and Dayton have previously met 33 times with the Flyers holding a 20-13 advantage in the all-time series. The two last squared off on Sept. 5, 2017 in Oxford as UD held on for a 3-2 win.
