Dayton, Ohio – The University of Men's Golf team closed out the fall season on Tuesday with the final round of the Flyer Invitational. They finished the final round in 7^th place with a score of 299 + 298 +302 = 899 (+47). They were led by Domenic Maricocchi, who currently finished Tied for 5^th overall at 217 (+4). In addition, Hayden Zimmerer finished the round with his best finish of the fall season. Hayden had a total of 4 of the 13 Flyer birdies in the 3^rd round.
 
Wright State won the tournament.
 
 
COACH COMMNENTS
"The guys went out and gave their best today" said Head Coach Gip Hoagland. "Unfortunately, it just wasn't enough. We need to use this as a learning experience to get better. That's our only option. Things don't always go as planned and these past two days are examples of that. We will learn from it and be better because of it."

The Flyers are officially done for the Fall Semester. They will start up play again in February when they head to Dade City, Florida for the Earl Yestingmeier Match Play.
