DAYTON, Ohio - The University of Dayton women's golf team stormed back to finish in a tie for 2^nd place at the University of Dayton Women's Golf Fall Invitational. The team, led by Senior Ellie Cronin, finished only a couple strokes off the eventual winner of the tournament, Butler. Alexandra Bozich and Abby Bitto both shot a team best 73 on the day with multiple birdies a piece. The team finished with a total of 9 birdies on the day. The team finished with a total score of 608 (+48) for the tournament.
 
The individual winner was Sofia Seldemirova from The Ohio State University.
 
 
 
COACH'S COMMENTS
"Normally I comment about the great play of one or two players and how they propelled the team.  But after our play today, it is all about the team. All five players scored in the 70's today and they shot the low round of the tournament, the only sub-300 score. Our team is starting to feel comfortable with these lower scores and believing it is the new normal. We are all happy to finish the fall season so well and excited for what we can do in the spring."

UP NEXT
The Flyers are done for the Fall Season. They will start back up with play in March when they head down to South Carolina for the COC Kiawah Island Classic.
