TERRE HAUTE, Ind. –  The University of Dayton women's cross country team took 11th place of 26 teams in the White 6K at the Pre-National Invitational at the LaVern Gibson Championship Course. Several nationally ranked teams were competing in the event. 

Dayton junior Kelly Wilker was the Flyers' top finisher in 21st place, of 175 runners, in a PR time of 21:39.4, which is ranked 11th all-time at UD. Sophomore Emily Sreenan also notched a UD top 15 mark with her PR of 21:57.5, good enough for 14th all-time at Dayton.  

Freshman Melissa Weidner was next to cross for the Flyers in 22:42.6. Sophomore Katie Miller took 50 seconds off her previous PR and UD's fourth to finish. 

In the open race, sophomore Aileen Hull was UD's top finisher and took a full minute off her previous PR. Freshman Liz Lechowicz took one minute and 19 seconds off her previous PR.
