Union, Kentucky – The Flyers finished in 2^nd place in the NKU Collegiate Classic. The team shot a 300 + 308 = 608 (+32) on the day. Alexandra Bozich had a career best finish in the tournament. This is the first time that she has finished in the Top 5 of her career. She finished in 3^rd place with a score of 147 (+3).
 
The 54-hole event was held at Lassing Pointe Golf Club in Union, Kentucky. IUPUI won the tournament with a score of 596 (+20).

COACH'S COMMENT

"I'm really pleased with how we're progressing as a team" said Head Coach Sally Kosters. "In years past, we would have one or two players that could go low, which is great, but you need all five players in the mix to win tournaments. We are getting closer with each round. This time, Alex Bozich shot even par to get the team in position and individually placed 3rd in the entire field. Ellie Cronin joined Alex on the "All Tournament Team" placing 5th overall. Abby Bitto is a bit of the un-sung hero on the team, consistently delivering solid scores, this time 7th overall. With 3 players in the top ten, we are looking good!"
 
 

UP NEXT
Dayton will host multiple teams for the Flyer Invitational next week. The tournament will begin on Monday at 9 A.M.
