MADISON, Wis. – The University of Dayton women's cross country team finished in the top half of the 2019 NCAA Great Lakes Regional Friday at the Zimmer Championship Course, placing 15th of 31 teams in the championship 6k race.
Sophomore
Emily Sreenan was Dayton's top finisher with a PR time of 21:25.2, which is the 9th best all-time at UD. She took 32 seconds off her previous 6k PR.
Junior
Kelly Wilker was next to cross and nearly hit her PR, missing it by just .2 seconds.
Sophomore
Maddie Loughery (22:11.5) and freshman
Melissa Weidner (22:22.5) both recorded PRs UD Top 25 times. Loughery took an astounding 49 seconds off her previous best and Weidner took 20 seconds off her previous PR.

Katie Miller also set a PR.
