DAYTON – The University of Dayton men's soccer team won in dramatic fashion, 2-1 over George Washington on senior night at Baujan Field.
Sophomore
Kingsford Adjei scored on a free kick in the 88
th minute to secure the victory.
The Flyers (11-7, 6-2 A-10), won their sixth game in a row and end the regular season on a winning streak heading into the conference tournament.

- Both sides were scoreless in the first half, with Dayton outshooting George Washington, 2-1 in shots on goal.
- After many opportunities for the Flyers, sophomore Elias Harryson scored off of a corner kick to give Dayton the breakthrough in the 72nd minute.
- George Washington scored in the 79th minute to equalize.
- After hitting the crossbar a few minutes prior, Adjei put a free kick inside the post to take the lead.
- The Flyers dominated with 24 shots to GW's eight.
- Goalkeeper Federico Barrios had three saves.
- Adjei led UD with eight shots, three on goal while junior Jonas Fjeldberg had seven shots.
- Head coach Dennis Currier earned his 150th career victory.
