KINGSTON, R.I. - The University of Dayton volleyball team captured its Atlantic 10-record 13th Championship Title Sunday afternoon with a 3-1 (22-25, 25-23, 25-20, 25-19) win over VCU at Rhode Island's Keaney Gymnasium. Dayton earns the A-10's automatic bid to the 2019 NCAA Tournament and the Flyers will be making their 14th appearance in national postseason play in December.
Dayton is now 22-8 on the season while VCU moves to 24-6 overall.

Sierra Pla tallied a career-high 15 kills while hitting at .429 to go with four blocks and three digs
• 27 - sophomore
Maura Collins got under a match-high 27 digs and sophomore
Josie Vondran tallied 27 assists for the Flyers

Jamie Peterson posted her 13th double-double of the season with 13 kills and 12 digs
• 13.0 - as a team, Dayton recorded 13.0 blocks led by junior
Olivia Dubay with eight to go with her eight kills and .545 hitting percentage
