Athens, Ga. – The University of Dayton baseball team fell in its season opener to the University of Georgia on Friday afternoon by a score of 5-1. Georgia's starting pitcher Emerson Hancock rode a no-hit bid into the seventh inning, as the Bulldogs build a 5-0 lead during that stretch.
Alex Brickman put Dayton on the board with a solo home run in the ninth.
