COACH'S COMMENT
"Overall, the day was pretty good," said head coach
Gip Hoagland following the day. " We played extremely well against George Washington. Unfortunately, they played a little better. We did a lot of good things: made a lot of birdies, kept big mistakes to a minimum and fought hard for all 18 holes. We showed a lot of heart and never gave up. It just wasn't enough.
"Against George Mason, we started off hot and really just kept it together for all 18 holes. The match was pretty close for a while. The guys stepped it up mid round and got up in a few matches and then we held on at the end."
