DAYTON - The University of Dayton softball team will be heading south to Nashville this weekend for the Belmont Bruin Classic March 1-3. Dayton will play a total of five games over three days against Alabama A&M, Northern Kentucky and host Belmont.

About Dayton
Dayton (4-5) is coming off a bye weekend after a 1-3 outing at the Chattanooga Challenge Feb. 15-17. Heading into the weekend, the Flyers' senior catcher Kyle Davidson leads the team with a .414 average (9th A-10) on a team-high 12 hits. She's also a beast on the base paths with eight stolen bases in nine attempts and ranks 14th nationally with 0.89 SB per game.
