Gilliam April 1 Pitcher of the Week
Senior right-handed pitcher
Jessica Gilliam has been named the Atlantic 10 Pitcher of the Week as announced by the league office Monday, April 1. Gilliam worked consecutive complete games over two wins in the circle for Dayton this past week. She allowed three earned runs in 14 innings of work for a 1.50 ERA on the week. In a 9-3 win at Saint Louis Wednesday, Gilliam tallied six strikeouts to zero walks while allowing three earned runs on seven hits. She followed that with a complete-game shutout of Rhode Island on Friday as she fanned a career-high 11 while walking one and gave up zero runs on three hits.

Abby Ehrenborg leads the team and ranks third in the A-10 with 26 RBI this season. Ehrenborg has posted five multiple RBI games in 2019 including five RBI against Kennesaw State on Feb. 16 at the Chattanooga Classic. Ehrenborg was named to the All-Conference First Team and All-Rookie Team following her freshman season for her play primarily as designated player.
