Bronx, N.Y. -- The University of Dayton baseball team continued its stretch of success in the Atlantic 10 Conference Tournament with a 7-3 win over Davidson in the second round on Thursday morning.Â

Cole Pletka Tied A Career-High With 10 Strikeouts. Dayton will take on the winner of No. 1 VCU/No. 4 Fordham at noon tomorrow. The Flyers are now 31-24-1 this season, tying the win total from the 2012 season, while Davidson falls to 27-21 on the year.
KEY MOMENT
Alex Brickman singled up the middle to drive in
Michael Cleary and
Connor Wilson to give Dayton some insurance runs and extend the lead to 5-2 in the top of the eighth, which was too much for Davidson to overcome.
