COLUMBUS, Ohio - The University of Dayton volleyball team battled Illinois State to a 3-2 (19-25, 25-21, 19-25, 25-23, 15-13) win Saturday afternoon in the finale of the Ohio State Buckeye Classic at OSU's Covelli Center.
Dayton finishes the weekend 7-6 overall while Illinois State moves to 7-5 on the season.

• 13.0 - as a team, Dayton tallied 13.0 total blocks to Illinois State's 8.0 blocks
• 24 - the only flyer in double-digit kills, sophomore 
Jamie Peterson tallied 24 on the day to go with her career-high eight blocks

Dayton will open Atlantic 10 Conference action next week at Saint Louis. The Flyers' only match of the week is scheduled for Friday, Sept. 27 against the Billikens at Chaifetz Pavilion in St. Louis. First serve is set for 6 p.m. ET.
