ST. LOUIS – The University of Dayton women's soccer team suffered its first Atlantic 10 loss of the season, falling 4-1 to Saint Louis Sunday at Hermann Stadium.
The Flyers drop to 3-6-2 overall (1-1-1 A-10) and the Billikens improve to 8-3-1 overall (3-0-0 A-10).
KEY STATS
•  Saint Louis outshot Dayton 15-8, including 7-3 with shots on goal. SLU also held the advantage on corner kicks, 5-1.
•  The Flyers had 14 fouls and Saint Louis was assessed with 13 fouls.
•  The Billikens are unbeaten at home this season at 4-0-1.
KEY MOMENTS
• Freshman
Audrey Steiert scored her first collegiate goal to give UD a 1-0 lead in the 17th minute. She scored on a rebound shot by fellow freshman
Alexis Goins. The scoring all started on a free kick by another freshman
Yaiza Navarro Leon.
• The Billikens answered with two goals in the 31st and 35th minutes from Annabelle Copeland to take a 2-1 lead into halftime.
• SLU scored again in the 47th minute on a free kick by Hannah Friedrich to take a 3-1 lead and Courtney Reimer added a goal in the 86th minute for the final tally.

• The Flyers continue A-10 action at St. Bonaventure on Thursday, Oct. 3 at 7 p.m.
• The next home match for UD is Sunday, Oct. 6 vs. Davidson at Baujan Field at 1 p.m. The Flyers will be honoring their seniors prior to the match.
