THE TRANSFORMED UD ARENA
The University of Dayton has completed a three-year, $76.2 million transformation project of UD Arena in time for the Arena's 50th anniversary season. The project transformed the 50-year-old facility into a state-of-the-art venue.  The upgrade, the largest construction project in University history, modernizes the Arena without losing the "soul of the bowl" – the atmosphere that has made UD Arena one of the best places to watch college basketball.

#TRENDING
• Dayton shot a season-high .648 (35-54) from the field and had 25 assists Wednesday night in UD's 86-60 win over St. Bonaventure.  Jalen Crutcher scored 20+ points for the third straight game, tallying 23 points to go with seven assists.  Four other Flyers reached double figures -- Obi Toppin (18 points), Ibi Watson (12), Trey Landers and Ryan Mikesell (10 each).
• Crutcher was named A-10 Player of the Week after a 20.5 ppg. avg. in the VCU and SLU wins, including at Saint Louis where he nailed a game-winning three with 0.1 seconds left in OT.
• The Athletic named Toppin its Mid-Season Player of the Year in a vote of their college basketball writers and the Sporting News selected him to be one of its First Team Mid-Season All-Americans.  He is on four national player of the year watch lists -- the John R. Wooden Award, the USBWA's Oscar Robertson Trophy, the James Naismith Trophy and Lute Olson Award.  Jay Bilas listed him as his top breakout candidate.
• Toppin had his 100th career dunk during the Virginia Tech game in Maui, which was just his 20th start and 38th career game. He now has 146.
• UD's No. 7 ranking is its best since December, 1967, when the Flyers were ranked sixth.
• Dayton has been ranked in the Top 20 for eight consecutive weeks for the first time since the last eight weeks of the 1957-58 season. WHIO's Bucky Bockhorn was a star on that team.
• UD is first nationally in FG% (.525, 585-1114) and second in assists (19.05, .003 behind first).
• Seven different Flyers have scored in double figures this season. Six have led UD in scoring.
