COACH'S COMMENT
"We were happy to get the win against Xavier in the morning session," commented head coach
Gip Hoagland following today's matches. "We played very steady and did a lot of good things to come out ahead in a hard-fought match. In the afternoon against Drake, we actually played better. The team drove the ball well all day and made a decent amount of birdies. The match was back and forth all afternoon. At the end we needed to flip a couple of matches, which we tried to do but Drake just wouldn't let it happen. Tomorrow we have the opportunity to play for third place against at strong DePaul team. I expect the guys to come out full of energy and excited to fight hard for the win."
