Fellow senior Jenna Giacone is adding 10.3 points each contest with freshman center Tenin Magassa coming off a 19-point, seven rebound, five block performance against Davidson.

SCOUTING ST. BONAVENTURE
St. Bonaventure enters the game with a 2-9 record overall and a 1-7 Atlantic 10 mark. The Bonnies have lost three games in a row and are winless on the road this season.

Head coach Jesse Fleming is in his fifth season at his alma mater and has Ohio roots having previously served as an assistant at Bowling Green.

This year, the Bonnies are averaging 57.7 points per game, but allowing 64.7 points to opposing squads. St. Bonaventure is shooting 37.6 percent from the field, 30.6 percent from behind the arc, and 69.6 percent from the charity stripe. The Bonnies also have to overcome -3.5 rebounding and -1.3 turnover margins.

Leading SBU is Asianae Johnson with 13.6 points and shooting 43.9 percent overall while Tori Harris is contributing 10.5 points and 6.3 boards per game.

LAST TIME OUT
Dayton led by as much as 18 as the Flyers defeated Davidson 64-58 Thursday at UD Arena. Erin Whalen and Tenin Magassa both had 19 points each in the fifth-straight win.

St. Bonaventure suffered a 65-50 loss to Saint Louis at  home Friday after trailing 33-17 at the half. The Bonnies had 12 points each from Tori Harris and Asianae Johnson, but it was not enough as SBU took its third straight loss after shooting 28.6 percent in the contest.

THE SERIES
Dayton and St. Bonaventure have played 28 times previously with the Flyers winning 18 times and the Bonnies winning 10 contests. UD has won the last four matchups including a meeting earlier this year on New Year's Day, 56-47.

STATISTICAL RANKINGS
This season the Flyers rank seventh in the country in field goal percentage defense and 15th in scoring defense. Individually, Erin Whalen ranks 47th in the nation in three point field goal percentage while Tenin Magassa is 22nd in blocks per game.

WHALEN JOINS 1,000-POINT CLUB IN CAREER
On Jan. 14 against Davidson, redshirt senior surpassed the 1,000-point mark in her career, two years at Dayton and two years at Vanderbilt University. She scored 19 points in the win to achieve that milestone.

MAGASSA NAMED A-10 ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
Freshman center Tenin Magassa was named Atlantic 10 Rookie of the Week on Jan. 18 after having a breakout performance with 19 points on 9-of-12 shooting, seven rebounds, and five blocks in the win over Davidson. It was the first accolade for the France native on the season.

COOK NAMED A-10 ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
Dayton freshman Makira Cook was named Atlantic 10 Rookie of the Week on Jan. 4 after averaging 11.0 points and shooting 61.5 percent from the field. She highlighted the week with an 18-point performance against St. Bonaventure.

SHORTENED NON-CONFERENCE PLAY
The Flyers only had two non-conference games and no exhibition contests due to COVID concerns. Dayton opened the season at Morehead State on Nov. 25  with a victory before dropping the home opener to Akron on Dec. 6.

BRADSHAW HELPS START ATHLETES DRIVING CHANGE
Redshirt senior Araion Bradshaw was one of a few Atlantic 10 women's basketball players to start Athletes Driving Change, a minority female, student-run organization dedicated to racial and social injustice on campuses in the A-10. Their mission is to create change through education, action, and service. Bradshaw also serves on the A-10 Commission on Racial Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion.

FLYERS IN REGULAR SEASON LEAGUE PLAY
Dayton has won 119 of its last 145 regular season Atlantic 10 games (.819), a streak that dates back to a 97-46 win over Rhode Island on Jan. 7, 2012, and includes a perfect 14-0 mark in conference play during the 2012-13 season.

THREE POINTS OF EXCELLENCE
Dayton has hit at least one three-point shot in 608 consecutive games dating back to Jan. 2, 2001, the longest streak in the Atlantic 10 Conference and one of the top streaks in the nation. The Flyers made a program-record 15 three-point field goals against Buffalo in the Connecticut World Vision Classic on Nov. 25, 2011. Dayton tied the record with 15 vs. Wright State on Nov. 28, 2012.

OFF TO A HOT START
Dayton has found much success under Coach Green in the month of January, going 33-2 in her first five seasons as head coach of the Flyers. That includes going undefeated in three of the four years before this season.
