DAYTON -Â The University of Dayton women's soccer team returned home Thursday to wrap up the home portion of the regular season, as they hosted the Fordham Rams at Baujan Field. After a scoreless first half, the Flyers used their decided possession advantage to grab the lead and secure the victory with two insurance goals. With Thursday night's win, the Flyers virtually guarantee that they will host an Atlantic 10 Quarterfinal Match next Sunday, Oct. 31.

Diana Benigno opened the scoring for the Flyers in the 52
nd minute, as she unleashed an abosulte rocket from about 22 yards out, and ripped the upper right corner of the net, beating Rams goalkeeper Maria O'Sullivan to put the Flyers on top 1-0. This would prove to be the match winner, but Dayton wouldn't stop there, as
Alicia Donley netted her fifth of the season off of an
Itala Gemelli cross in the 74
th minute, and just one minute later
Laney Huber got her fifth of the season off of a
Madison Wilson corner kick to seal a 3-0 victory.
