DAYTON - The University of Dayton volleyball team posted its third-consecutive straight-set win with its 3-0 (25-17, 25-18, 25-16) victory over Duquesne Sunday afternoon at Frericks Center. The Flyers out-hit the Dukes .245 to .060.
Dayton is now 10-5 overall and 4-0 in Atlantic 10 play while Duquesne moves to 7-8 on the season and 2-2 in conference action.

• 14 - senior
Jamie Peterson led all attackers with a match-high 14 kills
• 13 - freshman
Lexie Almodovar got under a match-high 13 digs
• 11.0 - as a team, Dayton posted 11.0 total team blocks to Duquesne's 2.0
• 10 - for the third time this season sophomore middle blocker
Amelia Moore recorded double-digit kills with 10
• 8 - freshman
Alayna Yates tallied a season-high eight assisted blocks to lead the Flyers at the net
UP NEXT
The second game of Dayton's seven-match homestand is set for Thursday, Oct. 7 against VCU. The Flyers and Rams will square off at 6 p.m. in Frericks Center and admission is free. Per current City of Dayton Mask Mandate,
fans are required to wear their masks completely over their nose and mouth throughout their time in Frericks Center (including inside the Gym) unless actively eating or drinking. These guidelines are subject to change with current local and state regulations.
