DAYTON - University of Dayton volleyball will close out its 2021 regular season schedule at Saint Louis on Friday. The Flyers and Billikens are set to square off at 5 p.m. ET time at SLU's Chaifetz Pavilion.

Dayton (22-5, 15-0 A-10) is currently enjoying a 16-match winning streak and has cruised through the 2021 Atlantic 10 regular-season slate with an unblemished 15-0 mark in league contests. The Flyers are led offensively by senior Jamie Peterson with 4.37 kills/set (1st A-10, 21st NCAA) and 0.44 aces/set (1st A-10, 28th NCAA) and sophomore Livie Sandt with 9.40 assists/set (2nd A-10). On defense, sophomore Amelia Moore collects 1.25 blocks/set (1st A-10, 35th NCAA) and senior Maura Collins is the team's primary passer with 3.65 digs/set (8th A-10).

Saint Louis (17-10, 10-4 A-10) is in the hunt for a second-place finish in the 2021 A-10 regular season standings, heading into the weekend in third place behind VCU (11-3). The Billikens had rattled off five-straight wins before falling at Rhode Island, 3-1, on Nov. 7. Senior Maya Taylor is the team's leading attacker with 4.06 digs/set (2nd A-10, 38th NCAA) while Jillian Mattingly carries the team's best hitting percentage of .386 (1st A-10, 38th NCAA).

Dayton leads, 43-17
In a series that dates back to 1978, Dayton holds a 43-17 all-time lead over Saint Louis, including a 3-1 win over the Billikens at Frericks Center on Oct. 10. The Flyers have won four straight and 20 of the last 21 meetings.
