ST. LOUIS - The University of Dayton volleyball team finished its Atlantic 10 season undefeated for the fifth time in program history with a 3-1 (25-18, 25-23, 24-26, 25-14) win at Saint Louis Friday night. The Flyers have earned the No. 1 seed at the upcoming A-10 Championship and will play in the 1:30 p.m. semifinal match on Saturday, Nov. 20 at Duquesne's UMPC Cooper Fieldhouse.

Dayton closes out its 2021 regular season slate with a 23-5 overall mark, a 16-0 record in conference play and a 17-match winning streak. Saint Louis moves to 17-11 on the year and is now 10-5 in league action.

KEY STATS
• 47 - sophomore Livie Sandt tallied 47 assists, her eighth match this season with 40+ assists
• 16 - senior Jamie Peterson recorded a match-high 16 kills and was one off the double-double with nine digs
• 15 - freshman Lexie Almodovar had 15 kills and also got under nine digs
• 13 - senior Maura Collins got under a team-high 13 digs to go with three aces and five assists
• 10 - freshman Alayna Yates posted 10 kills, the fourth double-digit kill match for the middle blocker this season, to go with a match-high five blocks
