HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. – The University of Dayton women's tennis team fell Saturday night at Northern Kentucky 4-1 at Five Seasons Sports Club in Highland Heights, Ky.

The Flyers fall to 1-1 on the weekend and 3-6 in 2021. Dayton opened the match with a strong performance in doubles play. Sophomores
Paige Kompa and
Elizabeth Hamilton won in No. 1 doubles 6-4. Junior
Natalie Stanton and sophomore
Erica Wojcikiewicz took the doubles point with a win in No. 2 doubles 6-3.

Dayton failed to follow that up into singles play. Wojcikiewicz fell in straight sets in No. 2 singles and Hamilton also dropped in No. 3 singles in straight sets. Freshman
Sarah DeMarco fell to Elizabeth Rozin of NKU and Stanton finished the evening, dropping the No. 5 singles flight.

The Flyers will return on Friday, March 5 at 5 p.m. in a home match against Cedarville at South Regency Tennis Center in Miamisburg.
