COACH'S COMMENTS
"We have been leaking goals since the start of the spring," said head coach Dennis Currier. "It's one of the areas we have got to really pay attention to, more focus. We have one of the best offenses in the country. That's what has gotten us out of trouble and tonight it didn't. I thought they were very good defensively and very stingy. They didn't let us get running like we normally do, but that's one area we have to get better at because each game we are allowing two to three goals per game. There were some mistakes that were made that really hurt us and they capitalized on that. We have a lot of things to still work on. The Flyers have always shown we get better as the season goes on. This season is a little different, it's a lot shorter and we just don't have the time. We have to figure it out before Saturday."

UP NEXT
  • The Flyers return to action this Saturday at 7 p.m. at Saint Louis to open Atlantic 10 play.
