Based on campus and local COVID-19 protocols and capacity restrictions, Dayton home athletic events will not be open to the general public. Limited seating is available to guests of Dayton student-athletes (names must be on a pass list for admission). Currently, visiting team fans are not permitted in/at the facility. THE SERIES
⢠The Flyers lead the all-time series 10-5-3 over Saint Louis.
⢠In the last five matches, however, UD is 1-3-1 vs. SLU. The last meeting was a 4-1 loss at Hermann Field on Sept. 29, 2109.
Audrey Steiert scored the lone goal for the Flyers to put Dayton up 1-0 before Saint Louis scored four unanswered.

⢠UD returns eight starters from a squad that went 7-9-3 overall and 5-3-2 in conference play in 2019. Dayton was 1-7-2 in matches not played at Baujan Field in 2019, and 6-2-1 at home.

SCOUTING SAINT LOUIS
⢠Saint Louis is 6-1-0 overall and 1-0-0 in A-10 play. The lone loss was a 1-0 overtime setback to Oklahoma State (March 6), currently 9-2-1 and ranked No. 14 in the United Soccer Coaches Top 25 National poll.
⢠The Billikens opened A-10 play with a dramatic 1-0 win over St. Bonaventure Sunday, with freshman Hannah Larson scoring the golden goal with just 5.6 second left in the second overtime.
⢠SLU is averaging 2.29 goals per match and holding opponent to just 0.57 per match. 10 different Billikens have scored this season.
⢠Saint Louis is led in scoring by Emily Groark with four goals. Larson has three goals and an assist.
⢠Anna Walsh and Hannah Friedrich lead the Billikens with four assists each.
⢠Freshman Emily Puricelli has started all seven matches in goal and has a 0.55 GAA and 24 saves.

GOOD TO BE BACK AT BAUJAN
⢠Dayton's 1-0 win over Marshall on Feb. 28 marked the first NCAA Division I women's soccer match at Baujan Field in 493 days. Prior to the Flyers taking on The Herd, the last women's soccer match at Baujan Field was a UD 3-0 victory over Fordham on Oct. 24, 2019.

ROOKIE OF THE WEEK HONORS FOR ITALA
ā¢Ā Freshman
Itala Gemelli was named the Atlantic 10 Rookie of the Week on Feb. 22. Gemelli scored her first collegiate goal, a game-winner in the 86th minute against Northern Kentucky in a come-from-behind 2-1 victory for UD. The rookie from Rochester, Mich., also scored the Flyers' lone goal in a 4-1 loss to undefeated Butler.

FLYERS PICKED 4TH IN A-10 POLL
⢠The Dayton women's soccer team was selected to finish fourth in the 2020-21 Atlantic 10 standings in a vote by the league's 14 head coaches. The Flyers were 5-3-2 in the conference in 2019 and finished fifth in the league.
⢠A four-team 2020-21 Atlantic 10 Championship will be played on the campus of the highest seed, April 15-17, with the winner advancing to the NCAA tournament.
⢠The Atlantic 10 has divided the 14 teams that participate in women's soccer into three geographical pods.
⢠The top team from each pod, and the next best team (regardless of pod) will play in the four-team Championship.
DAYTON'S A-10 BACKGROUND
⢠Dayton has won the A-10 Tournament Championship more than any other team in the conference: 10 times (1996, 1999, 2001, 2003, 2004, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2014, 2016).
⢠UD has also won or shared 11 Atlantic 10 Regular Season titles (1996, 1998, 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2009, 2010, 2013). The next closest is Massachusetts with five.
