PITTSBURGH - The University of Dayton volleyball team claimed its seventh straight-set win Saturday evening with a 3-0 (25-17, 25-10, 26-24) victory at Duquesne. It was the third win over the Dukes for the Flyers this season. Junior
Jamie Peterson led all attackers with 16 kills.
Dayton improves to 9-1 on the season and 6-1 in Atlantic 10 play while Duquesne ends its season with a 1-8 overall mark and a 1-8 record in league action.

• .419 - as a team, Dayton posted a .419 hitting percentage with 49 kills to 10 errors in 93 attempts while holding Duquesne to a .151 team hitting percentage
• 16 - Peterson led the Flyers' offense with 16 kills on the strength of a .417 hitting percentage

Lexie Almodovar was the only other player with double-digit kills with 11

UP NEXT
Dayton will close out its regular season next weekend with two home matches against Saint Louis. The Flyers and Billikens are set to square off on Friday, March 26 at 7 p.m followed by a 5 p.m. matchup on Saturday, March 27 at UD's Frericks Center.
