DAYTON - The University of Dayton men's soccer team hosts Saint Louis Sunday, March 28 at 6 p.m. at Baujan Field in Atlantic 10 action.
SCOUTING THE FLYERS
The Flyers are 1-3-1 on the season overall and have a 1-1-1 A-10 mark. UD has two home games remaining and plays the three division foes each one more time with a spot in the postseason on the line.
Head coach
Dennis Currier is in his 16th season at the helm of the Flyers, totaling 153 victories, the most in UD history. He returns the reigning Atlantic 10 Offensive Player of the Year

Overall, Dayton is scoring 1.60 goals per game and allowing 2.00 goals to opponents. The Flyers are outshooting opposing teams 18.6 to 16.2, but at a lower percentage.

Jonas Fjeldberg with three goals and two assists for eight points while junior Kinsgford Adjei also has three goals and one assist. Fellow
Jake Feiner leads UD with three assists in five games. Freshman goalkeeper
Marc Kouadio has a 1.91 goals against average and 26 saves while playing every minute.
SCOUTING THE OPPONENT
SAINT LOUIS
Saint Louis comes to Dayton with a 7-3 record overall and is tied atop the division standings with a 2-1 record in A-10 games. The Billikens are coming off a loss however, their first in four games, after falling to Duquesne last outing.
Head coach Kevin Kalish is in his third season at the helm of his alma mater.
The Billikens are outscoring opposing squads 1.60 goals per game to 0.50 goals given up. SLU is averaging 13.6 shots and holding opponents to 9.3 attempts each outing.
Saint Louis is led by John Klein with two goals and three assists on the season with Simon Becher chipping in three goals. Seven different Billikens have scored a game-winning goal this year, showing their depth. Goalkeeper Patrick Schulte has 26 saves and four shutouts compared to five goals allowed in 10 games.
THE SERIES
Dayton and Saint Louis have played 26 times previously with the Billikens winning 17 times and the Flyers winning six times. Earlier this season, SLU was victorious at home 2-0.
LAST OUTING
Dayton drew with St. Bonaventure at home last Saturday, 1-1 in double overtime.

Saint Louis suffered its first loss of the A-10 season with a 1-0 defeat at Duquesne on March 20. It was the first loss since March 2 and the first goal allowed in league play.
FJELDBERG DRAFTED BY F.C. CINCINNATI
Dayton senior
Jonas Fjeldberg was recently drafted in the 2021 MLS Superdraft by F.C. Cincinnati with the 54th pick overall in the second round. He will join up with the team after the completion of his senior campaign.
INTERNATIONAL FLAIR
Dayton has been known to have numerous international players and this year is no different. The Flyers' roster contains eight international players from the countries of Sweden, Ghana, Norway, Nigeria, Bosnia, and South Africa.
RECAPPING THE 2019 SEASON
Dayton last competed in the fall of 2019 and went 13-8 overall and 6-2 in A-10 play. The Flyers got hot late and won five games in a row to take them all the way to the A-10 Championship game before eventually falling to Rhode Island in the final.
